Daylight Tinctures For Pets
CBD Can Helps Pets Too!
We are animal lovers and dog owners.
It was in our search to provide our family dog with some relief that we discovered CBD for him, and then for ourselves.
We love that CBD is all-natural and works in union with animal’s own systems to help keep them healthy.
Read on to find out how your beloved pet can benefit from CBD.
“The patients I see that are benefiting from cannabis products are any chronic pain/inflammatory condition such as arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, epilepsy, anxiety and cognitive dysfunction, allergic skin disease, cancer, and palliative care,” she says. “There are studies to indicate that it may also be helpful with heart and kidney disease, asthma, fractures, and hypertension,”
How CBD Works With Your Pet
Just like humans, dogs and cats have an endocannabinoid system (ECS). The ECS works to regulate certain bodily functions such as pain, mood, sleep, appetite, and immunity.
Your body, as well as your pets’ bodies, naturally produce cannabinoids called endocannabinoids. Therefore, when you or your furry companion consume a cannabis product, such as CBD oil, you are supplementing your endocannabinoid system.
Cannabinoids interact with the endocannabinoid receptors located in the central and peripheral nervous systems, which help maintain balance in the body and keep it in a normal healthy state.
CBD will not produce any euphoric sensations. This is very important to the compound that makes it so special. Pure CBD oil is non-toxic and all–natural.

How Much Will My Pet Need?
We like to encourage you to think ‘less is more’ when considering an appropriate dose for your dog or cat.
Typically, the suggested starting dose is 1mg–5mg per 10 lbs. of body weight. For cats, it is recommended to start with 1–5 mg total.
